Donna Gyug Memorial Bursary

Introduction:

The Donna Gyug Memorial Bursary was established in August 23, 2004 to recognize an Eastside Youth Soccer Association (EYSA) Under 18 female soccer player who is entering a post secondary institution to further her education.  The bursary was established by Unisource Canada Inc. in memory of Donna Gyug.
Donna was a long time member of EYSA and contributed to the organization in many ways.  Donna managed many of her children’s teams, coordinated EYSA’s bingo account, and was always willing to lend a helping hand.  She was always ready to do what was right for the players and supported their decisions wholeheartedly.  Donna was straight forward and to the point and you always knew what she was thinking, because she told you.
Donna unselfishly supported her family and her community.  You could find her at the school, the library, the Soccer Center or maybe a bingo.  What you wouldn’t find is Donna….sitting down.
