Eastside Soccer is taking steps to comply with Risk Management Policies and Best Practices recommended by SYSI and the Saskatchewan Soccer Association.
In order to ensure that our players have access to safe, and qualified coaching, ALL Eastside Coaches, Assistant Coaches, and Managers are required to provide a CPIC Criminal Records Check with the Vulnerable Sector Search included, at least every two years. Additionally, each Coach and Assistant Coach must submit a Coaches Application Form at the beginning of each season in which they are coaching. These forms can be submitted at the Coaches Night, and EYSA Coach Orientation Night (April 21, 2010) at the Henk Ruys Soccer Center.
To get your CPIC done, first download and fill out the CPIC Form and the Coaching Application Form, and provide the EYSA Coaches Associate with the following information:
After you submit your name to the Coaches Associate, your name will be sent to the Saskatoon Police Service with a list of all EYSA coaches that require a CPIC. You will then need to attend at the Police Station with your completed CPIC Form, to get the CPIC done. If the CPIC is clear, it will be sent directly to Eastside and Eastside will be billed for the cost of the CPIC directly. If the CPIC is not clear, it will be given to you and you will need to contact the EYSA Coaches Associate to determine if you will be allowed to coach a team.
Coaches and Assistant Coaches must submit their signed Coaches Application Form to the Coaches Associate. Contact the Coaches Associate to make arrangments or if you have any questions This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
