Player Placement Schedule
Player placements will start March 16. The schedule can be found on the Player Placement page.
*Please ensure athletes attend each of the scheduled times - this helps us tremendously in our efforts to form rosters as accurately as possible.
The SYS Leagues will run April 24 - June 30.
Eastside Outdoor Youth Programs 2026:
Saskatoon Youth Soccer offers two different league structures for U11 - U19: Alliance League and City League
*U11 - U19 athletes can only register in one league structure at a time (ie. you cannot be registered in both the Alliance and City Leagues simultaneously).
Alliance League is geared towards families interested in more commitment. The number of typical weekly events are 4 for Alliance League Premier, and 3 events for Alliance League divisions 2 and 3. (For U13 Premier, please check out the new information regarding the PSL league above).
City League is geared towards families interested in trying the sport, or taking part in a more relaxed environment: typically 1 game per week, and 1 weekly optional practice (details below).

Program Details
Targeted weekly schedule: 1 league game, 1 team practice, and 1 club practice
The Alliance League is designed for the committed and excelling player. Player placement sessions will be used to select players for each respective age group.
*Players selected to Eastside's Alliance League teams are expected to maintain excellent attendance and commitment.
In divisions where Eastside has multiple teams, teams will be formed with the aim of creating competitive balance and seeking to accommodate friend requests as best as possible.

Program Details
Targeted weekly schedule: 1 league game, 1 optional group practice.
The City League provides a more relaxed environment aimed at:
- Allowing players new to soccer to become introduced more easily to the sport;
- Helping multi-sport families more easily balance various activities simultaneously; and
- Providing later-developing players a game environment better suited to assist with their development
Teams will be formed with the aim of creating competitive balance and seeking to accommodate friend requests as best as possible.
For the Outdoor 2026 Season, Eastside will be offering weekly group sessions designed and facilitated by Eastside Technical Coaches for the City League teams.
For City League game days, volunteer team personnel will be required - unfortunately, Eastside Technical Coaches will not be available to lead game days.
