What can we expect at the player placement sessions?

Key Information:

Please note the following information for the Outdoor 2026 Player Placement Sessions:

Please attend all sessions that your child is assigned to, this helps with accuracy when forming teams.

• Players are asked to arrive dressed and prepared to go, NO LATER than 15 minutes prior to the scheduled start time
• Please ensure players are prepared for their sessions with the following:
• Appropriate equipment (ie. soccer cleats, shin guards, soccer socks, etc.)
• Water Bottle
• Appropriate workout clothes (please wear your grey Eastside training kit if you already have one)
• Please take the time to review our PLAYER PLACEMENT POLICY and PLAYER COMMITMENT POLICY
• Spectators are not permitted on the lower concourse. There are stairs in the lobby that can be used to accessed the viewing area on the second level
• It is extremely important that spectators refrain from coaching from the viewing area to help reduce stress and confusion amongst the players

To assist with team formation and submission for the Outdoor 2026 Season, the following Player Placement Sessions have been scheduled at the Saskatoon Sports Centre (150 Nelson Road):

U11 Boys City Rec League

• Monday March 16th @ 6:15pm on Kavia

U11 Girls City Rec League

•  Monday March 16th @ 5:15pm on Kavia

U13 Boys City Rec League

• Monday March 16th @ 6:15pm on Kavia

U13 Girls City Rec League

•  Monday March 16th @ 5:15pm on Kavia

*No U15, U17 City Rec League player placement sessions are currently scheduled as Eastside does not anticipate having more than one team in these respective groups

U11 Boys Alliance League

• Session 1 Group A: Tuesday March 17th @ 5:30pm on Trail Appliances
• Session 1 Group B: Tuesday March 17th @ 6:30pm on Trail Appliances

• Session 2 Group C: Monday March 23rd @ 6:30pm on Trail Appliances
• Session 2 Group D: Monday March 23rd @ 7:30pm on Trail Appliances

U7 and U9 Development Leagues

• U7 and U9s will connect around early April for preseason jamborees to help with forming game day rosters for the outdoor season.

The schedule may need to be adjusted slightly for some groups in the event of unexpected final registration numbers. We will communicate any changes to families with as much notice as we can.
