January 2023 Saskatoon Youth Soccer (SYS) announced U11 - U15 zone boundary changes commencing during the Indoor 2023-24 Season. The article on the changes can be accessed here.
Following these changes, SYS requires any families that have been rezoned to complete the ‘Permission to Play Out-of-Zone’ form

Eastside is a volunteer-based organization - eager to provide the best possible soccer experience for our community. Throughout each age group, Eastside relies on volunteers to help with the delivery of each age group’s programming.
We are seeking outgoing, dedicated and friendly personnel to help with programs & projects for the upcoming season. Your support helps us continue our goal of creating a life-long passion for sport!

The U11+ preseason training & player placements are scheduled for early September, following the Labour Day long weekend; preseason training for U7 & U9 take place shortly after the U11+ placements have been completed.
*Please ensure athletes attend each of the scheduled times - this helps us in our efforts to form rosters as accurately as possible

U7 Future Stars (2017 - 2018)
Projected Practice Days: Wednesdays & Saturdays
Projected Game Day: Sundays
Length: October - March - preseason training in September
Eastside’s U7 programs are aimed at fostering a close bond with the ball. The programs are designed to encourage players to be as CONFIDENT on the ball as possible, by developing positive on the ball habits. Our development league games will be delivered in small sided games formats (ie 3v3) to create the optimal game environment.
Teams will be formed with the aim of creating competitive balance and seeking to accommodate friend requests as best as possible.
*Please note that a guardian must be present at the sessions in the event that your child requires assistance
U9 Shooting Stars (2015 - 2016)
Projected Practice Days: Wednesdays & Saturdays
Projected Game Day: Sundays
Length: October - March - preseason training in September
Eastside’s U9 programs are aimed at building on the individual confidence of each player, and developing their CREATIVITY on the ball. Our development league games will be delivered in small sided games formats (ie 5v5) to create the optimal game environment.
Teams will be formed with the aim of creating competitive balance and seeking to accommodate friend requests as best as possible.
*U11 - U19 athletes can only register in one league structure at a time (ie you cannot be registered in Alliance & City League simultaneously)
Alliance League is geared towards families interested in more commitment and a higher skill level, typically 3 events per week
City League is geared towards families interested in trying the sport or taking part in a more relaxed environment, typically 1 game & an optional practice per week

The Alliance League is designed for the committed and excelling player. Player placement sessions will be used to select players for the A and B leagues for each respective age group.
*Players selected to Eastside’s Alliance League teams are expected to maintain excellent attendance and commitment.
**Players selected to Eastside’s Alliance League A teams are expected to prioritize their Eastside commitments over non-SYS academy commitments should a scheduling conflict arise.
In divisions where Eastside has multiple teams, teams will be formed with the aim of creating competitive balance and seeking to accommodate friend requests as best as possible.
