Eastside Youth Soccer Association Inc. is excited to announce we are hiring a Club Manager to steer us into the future. Here are the details:

Job Title: Club Manager

Organization: Eastside Youth Soccer Association

Position Type: Full-Time

Location: Saskatoon, Saskatchewan

Salary Range: $48,000-$60,000/year plus benefits.

Reports To: Board of Directors

Position Summary:

The Club Manager is a key leadership position within Eastside Youth Soccer Association (EYSA), a non-profit youth soccer organization. The Club Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the club, ensuring smooth registration processes, managing administrative functions, supporting marketing and fundraising efforts, coordinating on-field training logistics, and organizing the club’s annual tournament. This role plays a central part in the club’s success and community presence and is directly accountable to the Board of Directors.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Club Operations & Administration

  • Oversee all aspects of player and team registrations (seasonal, tournament, and special programs).
  • Maintain accurate player, coach, and volunteer databases.
  • Ensure compliance with provincial and national soccer governing body policies.
  • Liaise with league administrators, referees, and facility coordinators.
  • Manage scheduling for training, matches, and special events.

2. Financial Management & Fundraising

  • Support the development and management of the club budget in collaboration with the Treasurer and Board.
  • Lead and coordinate fundraising initiatives, including sponsorship outreach, grant applications, and donor engagement.
  • Track fundraising income and report progress to the Board.

 

3. On-Field Training Support

  • Work with the Technical Director and coaching staff to coordinate field bookings, equipment needs, and schedules.
  • Ensure smooth execution of training sessions and club programs.
  • Be a visible and supportive presence at training sessions and club events.

4. Tournament & Event Management

  • Lead the planning and execution of the club’s annual tournament, including permits, registration, scheduling, promotion, and volunteer coordination.
  • Organize other club events such as tryouts, community days, and year-end celebrations.

5. Marketing & Communications

  • Help promote club activities through email newsletters, social media, and the club website.
  • Collaborate on marketing campaigns to grow registration and community engagement.
  • Act as a point of contact for parent inquiries and external communications.

6. Governance & Reporting

  • Attend monthly Board meetings and provide regular operational and financial updates.
  • Collaborate with Board committees as needed.
  • Uphold the mission, vision, and values of the club at all times.
  1. Volunteer Coordination
  • Manage and track volunteer hours for club families.
  • Coordinate volunteer assignments for events, team support roles, and administrative duties.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and retention of volunteers.
  1. Equipment & Uniform Management
  • Maintain inventory of all club equipment and uniforms.
  • Coordinate ordering, distribution, and collection of uniforms and equipment for teams and coaches.
  • Ensure all equipment is accounted for, stored properly, and replaced as needed.

 

Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational and administrative skills.
  • Experience in sports administration, event planning, or nonprofit management (youth soccer preferred).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.
  • Comfortable using digital tools (registration platforms, spreadsheets, email marketing, etc).
  • A collaborative and community-minded approach.
  • Knowledge of grassroots soccer or experience working with volunteer boards is a strong asset.
  • Must pass a background check and possess a valid driver’s license.

Working Conditions:

  • Evening and weekend availability is required during the season.
  • Combination of office work and on-site presence at fields, events, and meetings.
  • May require lifting or transporting
